The Organic Elimination Episode

What a great little episode
that brightened a rather gloomy day.
Nigel! You are keepin it classy my friend.
I thought it was so classy to take a few minutes to remember
Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Ed McMohan,
as they touched a lot of people. I am very appreciative of
SYTYCD's take on honoring these people.

And Michael Jackson is straight up bucc
and crazy creative to the dance and music world.
What a shocking day. :*(

Anyways, let me break it down.
The bottom three WERE:
Auska & Vitolio
Caitlin & Jason
Jonathan & Carla

The Guys
According to Julia, Jonathan looked like a
goof while dancing for his life.
I agree wholeheartedly.
The other boys danced a "little desperate"
according to Nigel and I do agree with that.
BUT....
Jonathan went home.

The Girls
Carla, what the heck?
Girl, I love that song (15 Step, Radiohead),
but your solo was CHOPPY!
BEAUTIFUL solo by Kaitlin.
I loved her little dress.
BEAUTIFUL!
She looked like a little angel out there. SRSLY.
I feel like Auska is a great dancer in her own style,
but did not adapt comfortably to other styles
and showcase her personality.
Auska went home.

P.S. Toni Basil is organically grumpy.

The Organic Return of Toni Basil

Doing something new this season!
Twitter has become a super awesome (In my opinion)
way to find out what everyone's thinking and see
if I am on crazy pills or not.
So I will be adding in some
TWEET
substance to support my claims.

Opening Comments:
The Judges

I have to say, my mouth literally popped open
when the camera panned to the guest judge during this episode.
I thought there was no way our little flintstone would be invited back on the show. Due to her previous of all-knowing streetz act,
I thought Nigel would never bring her back, but alas,
it is Toni Basil!!!

props to prettyninja:
Nobody warned me it was Toni Basil night on sytycd!
I would have prepped my shots for the "street" drinking game,
had I known, heh
You're tellin me.

jenwhitten: Perhaps it's a lack of "organic dance aides" on your part. :P
Oh, trust me. Things are about to get ORGANIC around here.
ORGANIC STREETZ TIME minus the flintstone attire!

What is Nigel WEARING?
Is he trying to be on the Streetz?

On to the Dancing...

Carla and Whats-his-name

Oh gosh, I really can't remember his name.
I won't lie, this routine was uninteresting...
They couldn't even nod their heads in unison.
Hmm. Just saying. Not good. She is gold,
I think he is the one that completely messed this up.
I was surprised that Nigel bashed them bc
he is usually trying to fluff these bad dances
up so it won't look like his show completely sucks.
Good call on honesty tonight, Nigel.

Auska and Vitolia
Jazz- Mandy Moore

Hmm.
Oska seriously needs to lose her cool
and get ORGANIC with it. I said it!
What I liked about Katee last season was her ability to
just throw herself into everything with no doubts.
This is what Oska needs to do or she'll go.
Vitolio is such a sweetheart.
Not organic enough for me though.
Not a favorite tonight.
Oska needs to get craz-zay if she wants to win our hearts.
Cause it ain't happenin'.

Naughty Ballerina and Gentle Giant
Rumba - Tony Meredith

Hmm.
It was solid.
I think they're gonna go far.
She's great!
I liked Courtney and Gev's like this.
I can't stop thinking about last season!!!
Her legs are so strong
and he is such a Gentle Giant.

Janette and Brandon
Hip Hop - Dave Scott

Minus the "rock hands" I thought it was great!
Srsly, stop making the rock sign with your hands, though.
I'll blame it on choreographer,
but there are other ways to show you
are rockin' besides that hand gesture.
But wow, so strong, so together. It was good!
I saw Brandon locking during the intro and was like
whaaa?
It all makes sense now.
The boy learned to LOCK.
Dang. He is good.

Kayla and Kapono

OMG Now we are talking! SRSLY, THIS
is what I know and love to be sytycd.
Love the song. It is like a lullaby. Is this Jewel?
Nigel must have forgotten to pay attentionto the dance,
because he was WAY OFF!
The lines and beauty in this routine are SO worthy for a standing ovation.
Mary gives them Hot Tamale Train,
Basil can't relate it to the streetz, but manages to say nice things.
Is it organic? My favorite. Hands down.
It looked professional.
Kayla is gorgeous.
Not a Kapono fan.

Randi and Evan
Contemporary - Mia Michaeals

Gosh, they're talented.
Mia Michaels?
And Randee and Evan?

OMG!!!!
But...what? It's about her butt?
Hmm...maybe...
Wait. Did he just spank her?
No. Please tell me he didn't.
Yeah, okay dance officially ruined.
Sorry. I'm a tough crowd.
I don't like his baggy oversized clothing
Not digging it.
I want to, I really do!
But right now old men buggin young women
is not my thing.
Not trying to be a woman's activist here,
I'm just not a fan!
So, I guess I took it literally.
Whatevs!
Love Mia, and could tell the Randee
was horrified about her butt,
BUT (Also Nigel was NOT funny with his "speech")
They're awesome dancers.

Jason and Kaitlin
Paso Doble - Jean Marc Genereaux

Kaitlin looks like a cross between Madonna
and Princess Leia.
Whoa. Talk about dramatic music. srsly!
It was a solid performance.
Not much to else to say!
Kept thinking about Katee and Joshua's Paso (my fav).
Except...
Jason might be my new sytycd boyfriend.

Jeanine and Phillip
Broadway - Tyce Diorio

Ok as we know, not the biggest fan of Janine and her tango face.
BUT she looks kind of CUTE! Not gonna lie!
This dance gets cuter by the minute.
He clears the couch!
I can see why Janine made top twenty now,
she was so strong in this!
My fav part of this dance is most def
THE FEATHERS!
They almost looked magical.
Toni Basil said to make sure to not
let the feathers outshine them.
I actually agree with Toni Crazyass!
Feathers were my fav.

TWITTERRRRRRR

Closing Twitter Statements that I support 100%!
HassieHoacrackhead guest judge makes mary look normal on sytycd haha

I totally agree. Toni rambles like nobody's biz!

BrightBlueInk #sytycd geez, I think Janette and Brandon are good at everything. That was REALLY GOOD.
Yeah, it seems that way! The boy can lock.

dalyfe Still waiting on the great Hip-Hop and Contemporary routines like we saw last season! #SYTYCD
Me too!

emilydjacobs SYTYCD is not that great this season.
I agree with you :/
I may get there! I'm hoping. As for now, I do agree that I find myself thinking about last season and how moved I was by the dancers. Will, Courtney, Kherrington, Twitch, Joshua, Katee, Chelsie, Mark....omg.

AreAySeeAych sytycd was pretty good tonite..i hate when @adammshankman isnt the judge though :(
Adam Shankman def rivals Lil C as best guest judge ever! He's hilarious.

NoBatteries Someone spiked the judges drinks with crazy pills tonight. Paso was painful. Caitlin stutter stepped through everything. #sytycd
I can see how the Paso is a little unenjoyable. The outfits were certainly craz-zay.

DuckyDoesTV Brandon, who knew? #sytycd
We got ourselves a locker!

jenwhitten Hmm...I wonder how many people stopped following me after all those #SYTYCD tweets tonight?
Haha. Just a funny comment.

Watching SYTYCD on DVR. Really disliked first 2 dances. ASUKA GO HOME!
Yeah, I totally feel your pain and couldn't agree more!

jeweljk called 'Sweet dreams for you' its off my new album called Lullaby
It WAS Jewel. And wow, the album is called Lullaby. Like I said... :)

New Season

It is an all new season.
Uh oh.
That's more Mia Michaels
Being Mia Michaels
(ie. "I love to cut.
*long awkward pause* )
More Nigel being srslyfreaky
And more Mary Murphy emotional outbursts and
Hot tamale trains to come.
LIL C is buck as usual
(& my fav judge ever still to date)
Cat Deeley will wear ridiculous outfits...
It will be great.

Twitter should make this season interesting.
I'm following Adam Shankman lol.

Season 4 Blogging

Liz - Miranda - Teresa - Julia

Miranda has been watching sytycd since it’s very first season. She is a total veteran and introduced it to Liz last season. Liz had a huge thing for Neil, and probably still does. Liz and Miranda saw sytycd live last year in San Antonio at the SBC Center. Julia has been an avid viewer since last season as well. Teresa is a complete newcomer to the show and loves it. We showed her the entire season and all of our favorite dancers and she has to say her favorite female dancer is Courtney. Teresa even looked up Bio’s of the contestants in her spare time. ***side note*** Liz, Teresa & Miranda were all on dance team together and Julia was the panther. Julia & Teresa were nominated "Most Spirited" in their graduating class. AKA we got spirit here, people.
Miranda tried out for sytycd this past May and has had a personal experience with the show. (btw, she made it to second round, and saw judges and Deely in person).

As far as favorite dancers, Liz feels conflicted because Will was her favorite male dancer, even though she completely LOVES Joshua more than candy. Joshua’s personality is fantastic. All that, did you get those buns from your daddy stuff makes her laugh. And when he said for us to “get ready” for his topless number it was so funny. Liz’s favorite female dancer is Katee. Katee is the bomb. Period! Liz loves Chelsie Hightower second best if not equal to Katee. She’s amazing.

Julia has recently developed a thing for Twitch. She must have seen his emotional side during that last elimination, but his solo WAS adorable during last Thursday’s elimination episode (top 8 episode).

Miranda and Josh tried out together. Yes, it’s true. He asked her for an earring back and they tried out freestyling in the same room. He told Miranda that he was Debbie Allen’s nephew (Joshua Allen?? Hmm same last name) yet they make no mention of it on the show! AND they talk it up about Will being a student of Debbie Allen’s. I smell a fibber! We love Joshua though omg.

Miranda and Teresa are trying out for sure next season. Liz and Jules – maybe MAYBE just for the experience. We can’t wait for the live show!

ALSO- we are thinking of doing a dance crew to “It’s Raining Men”.

P.S. We love reading other blogs about sytycd and some good ones are listed under our content page. They’re so lol-worthy!

The Results Finale: Results are in and Mia Michaels needs a stylist asap

8/11/2008
Opening Comments: The Judges

Okay people, Cat Deeley is severely hott. That's all there is to it. Julia says Cat's dress is cool.

This is THE finale; one of the dancers will be awarded a quarter of a million dollars.

On the judging panel, we have a crowd. We have the rib-breaking Mia Michaels, Hairspray's Adam Shankman, Mary Murphy, Debbie Allen, Lil C, and Nigel of course.

And what? Top twenty? omg the whole top twenty...

They are just hyper together. Adam starts talking about God knows what for a good few minutes while the rest of America is out of the loop. We tried rewinding twice and still, for the life of us, had no clue what the heck he was talking about. Fox was probably about to kill him.

We find out that we have special guests and all of the judges' favorite dances in store for us tonight.

For this episode, Miranda has moved =( so was not able to be here "in person" however, several texts came in from her during the show.

First off, we have Nigel's choice of dance. Nigel chooses the Bollywood routine choreographed by Nakul Dev Mahajan Om Shanti Om soundtrack to the music "Dhoom Taana." Whew. Ok so this proves my theory that Nigel is just obsessed with "bringing the world to the stage" and that he will do anything to get it. p.s. this is a cool dance.

Mary chooses the Rumba choreographed by Tony Meredith and Melanie Lapatin to the music "Wishing On A Star" by Rose Royce. This dance is with Gev and Courtney. Hmm the best thing about the dance had been her "half-dress" and now its just some black dress. Boo.

Uh oh. We take a break from dances for a "first ever television popping dance-off" between Philip and Robert from earlier in the season. Robert wins and Lil C says a bunch of crazy ass shit that we love to hear.

Adam chooses the Comfort and Twitch hip hop as his favorite. It's not really one of ours.

Lil C proceeds to choose "Bleeding Love" by Chelsie and Mark after he blows my mind with his wack vocabulary. We love Lil C, he was the best guest judge ever. Tabether & Napolean's last name is D'Umo? This ruins everything.

Cat directed the attention back to Mary, but to everyone's surprise, she is missing from her seat. And then... we see this.

Yes, it is Mary Murphy seducing young Demitri in Samba. It was so hott! I screamed. Honestly, go Mary for actually doing something! That whole "Nigel and Cat were gonna dance" thing last year was totally a letdown when it was their faces over some cartoon. At least it had the Alamo in the background because San Antonio rules... BUT seriously Mary has it in her and she looks fabulous. We laughed for like ten minutes. Through text communication, Miranda can't believed that Mary danced. We thought the intro was particularly "spicy."

Now it's Mia's turn to pick her fav. Honestly, who is this woman's stylist? Forreal. She looks insane literally. Like a crazy mad scientist. There seems to be a mishap with the production crew, as the screen is blacking out over the FINALE of our show. wtheck? Is Mia cussing or what. There better be an explanation for this. Mia picks the Pas De Paux by Katee and Will ...and OMG it blacks out on the intro of the dance. wtf is going on here.

Katee and Will are able to get the mess up right, but Liz feels like all the dances miss the intensity of their debut nights. They are still good!

UM Will looks like a frickin gladiator. Every part of his body. Seriously.

So Adam now starts going into his love life and talks dirty to Cat Deeley. He chooses "The Garden" by Mark and Courtney. We love this one. After the dance, all four dancers are pulled together for the first elimination.
AHHH this is intense.

Courtney takes fourth place. In all the madness, she is handed flowers by a man we have literally never seen before. He goes in for the kiss on the cheek but misses and its almost a makeout. We are like "uh oh who is this guy?" Courtney seems to not let him go as he pulls away.

She then says her thanks and quotes "Jeff." Camera flashes to Jeff and he looks french and really uptight like a butler. A wise butler, obviously. Hmm this guy is getting some exposure lollll.

Then another old guy from the audience gets involved. Julia says, "and who is THIS guy?" These old guys are coming out of the woodwork here... Lol it was her dad. False alarm. We laughed.

Anyways...we are introduced to the "Jeff."

p.s. Check out the eyebrows on her grandma.

Ok we watch "Five Guys Named Moe," which Nigel Forreals afterward, Teresa points out.

Next, we just don't know honestly. It's the Chris Angel/ Wade Robson show in Vegas. Teresa says, "This isn't creepy at all," while Julia says that this was going to haunt her dreams. Bottom line: It was creepy.

Theres a coffin with bunny ears coming out and its the size of a body. hmm. sweet.

I'm so disappointed in myself for not finishing this! I will update it tomorrow! Liz

The Scottish Olympics aka The Top 4 Finale!!!

8/8/2008

Opening Comments: The Judges

Cat Deeley is hott!

Guest judging tonight is Emmy Nominated Contemporary Choreographer Mandy Moore. Also we have Mary Murphy and the "equally lovely" Nigel Lithgoe.

For the finale, Cat explains that everyone will be dancing with everyone else, even a Courtney-Katee and Twitch-Josh mixup.
Dancers: Courtney & Twitch

A Hip Hop by Tabether & Napolean to "Church" by T-Pain ft. Teddy Verseti

Julia loves Tabether. Hmm what is with Courtney's pants? They could have given Courtney a much better outfit in general. The dance was ok for us, but Mandy points out that Twitch was hysterical and Mary calls the number "a knock-out." This dance gets a WOOOOO from Mary. Courtney really put her all into this. Mandy more is cheerleadery and nice and thanks the dancers.
Dancers: Katee & Joshua

A Lyrical by Wade Robson to "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room" by John Mayer

Wade is back! He says that this routine is about love being hard work but its the best thing you'll ever fight for. Liz loves the intro where he tips Katee to either side. I love John Mayer. This routine is very Wade, reminiscent of the choreography the Lauren & Neil did last season. It was "from the heart and very honest," Mandy Moore said. It had a sweet ending but was very realistic. Omg during critiques Joshua looks sick =( he looks purple. Maybe one of the hospitalizations? Liz thinks so. Mary thinks it it magical when Katee and Josh get together. They did great.
Dancers: Katee & Courtney

A Broadway by Tastey Oreo to "The Trolly Song" by Rufus Wainwright

tbh we thought this was kind of lame. meh...ok so it's cute; why couldn't they have done something competitive and edgy like the boy's upcoming number? They should have had Sonya choreograph a "girl fight." We agree that Katee's extentions are excellent. Nigel gets way harsh, Ty. He tells Courtney that there is a lesson to be learned and that Katee does things better and Courtney should learn from it. Hmm Katee is modestly thinking, "Nigel shut uppp" lol. Courtney is tough.
Dancers: Joshua & Twitch

A Russian Style by Youri Nelzine to "Trepak- Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker Suite"

Oh damn, get ready... Ok, here we have two "untrained" hip hop dancers flitting around to classical music in MC Hammer pants. It is GENIUS! The rivalry tape was genius...our fav part is when Joshua walks in front of Twitch during his camera time and Twitch says, "I hate him." lol! Jules loves the "Marry Me Twitch" sign in the audience. Twitch on the ground is fabulous and Joshua's toe touch things are freaking amazing!!!

They got a standing ovation from all judges. They are just so athletic. "Testosterone OD." Mary WOOOO's and Nigel busts out a "let's be honest" when he says he knew they would be good because it's russian street dance. UM no Nigel. That is a little more than that. Nigel is obsessed with bringing the world to this stage and Twitch and Joshua are just pawns in his bohemeth game. Josh's elevation is superb. Liz's favorite of the night.
Dancers: Twitch & Katee

A Foxtrot by Tony Meredith & Melannie to "Feeling Good" by Michael Buble

*side note: What Not To Wear did not help Melannie

Woo woo, Katee gets the boy finally! Liz loves this song btw. This is the best foxtrot ever forreal. We love the lift; it is flawless! Twitch is a great partner and looks like James Bond! woo woo! Mary compliments Twitch, telling him how darn "snappy" he is, and that he is "one cool gentleman" (giggling under our breath at Mary's choice of words). Cat Deeley is all over Twitch and his "Bond"-ness. Mary says, "Bravo, BRA VO!" to Katee and Nigel says she is "splendid." Twitch is apparently "too British" to Nigel in his dance- ummm??? whatev. I love it.
Dancers: Joshua & Courtney

A Jive by Jason Gilkinson to "The Dirty Boogie" by The Brian Setzer Orchestra

There is a lot in this dance. Mary says this is the fastest and hardest style, and Jason reveals that this is one of his most intense routines. We thought the ending stunts were really great. I don't like marroon for this. hmm. But honestly they are working so hard and there are some hard moves in here. I like all the swooping Courtney underneath and all over the place. It was a tough one. Nigel is disappointed with the "jive" aspects, but is not "trying to knock them," just wants to be honest. Nigel just says, "Be Better." They look tired after its all done. whew.
The Solos

Courtney danced a solo to "They Weren't There" by Missy Higgins. Julia says she looks good in yellow.

We find out that Courtney is from Long Island and her Dad will totally kick Nigel's ass. In her personal interview with Cat Deeley, Courtney says that she knows she is not the best dancer, but that the show isn't about being the best dancer. All she wants to do is grow. Courtney succeeds because she has a great outlook and support system. Her favorite dance is the Sonya Jazz from last week. p.s. Courtney has a boyfriend.

Twitch danced a solo to "It Was All In Your Mind" by Wade Robson (he writes music i guess, apparently)

We learn about Twitch's childhood...aww he wore glasses and got picked on! Aww he's so cute. We love his original first tryout solo. Twitch would have gone into the Navy had he not made the cut this year! Uh ohhh he admits that he totally had his eye out for Kherington and was hoping to get her as a partner. His favorite dance was the Viennese Waltz for Jean-Mark's daughter. He is very genuine and says all the right things. Twitch was amazing in that dance btw. Julia says he really brings it in his solo and brings very high energy.

side note: omg he is totally giving Cat a full on shoulder massage.

Katee danced to "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap.

For her favorite routine, Katee chose "No Air," hip hop by Tabether and Napolean because it was so emotional and her first time on stage. She had to put a lot into her partnership and her and Josh became close really fast. Katee says she does funny dance moves because....well, even she doesn't realize she's doing it. She never wants to be too serious that she cannot have fun.

And for all the Katee haters out there-- Katee has a great personality!! what the heck

Joshua danced a lapdance version of "(Not Just) Knee Deep" by Funkadelic lol

We find out that Joshua did not have a lot growing up and definately had his fair share of struggles. His crossroads came when he ditched football for dance. Aww Cat starts making fun of his crybaby tendencies. p.s. Liz loves it when he cries (tears of happiness of course). His favorite dance was the Samba with Katee because it was outside of his element and he loved the judges response to his hard work and tight pants. I think he liked it because he got to show off his "buns."

In Joshua's solo, Mandy says he has such charisma and knows how to hit. I mean comon he totally made Nigel blush! Mary brags about how she called it that he would be in the finale and Nigel says that Joshua has "set the standard for untrained dancers."
The Mia Dance Finale

Paragraph.

An ending dance performed by all four dancers to a Mia Michael's routine. Music: Hallelujah by Vitamin String Cortet.

Ok so literally, this dance is like "what is going on" but Liz likes it. No response from Julia. lol. I know. It's a cross between beautiful string music, scottish kilts, and the olympics. Who knows why they are wearing that attire? Only Mia. The lighting could have been better we needed some spotlights in there. But I loved it. Joshua does a gorilla move, and they are sprinting all over the place---jump-roping, lifting, running sheets across stage.

Like Nigel said, I don't quite "get" it but it works for me. It just shows empowerment and the song "Hallelujah" makes it that much better. It just looks like athleticism. p.s. I'm sure the girls were burning up in those long-sleeved up to their neck dresses. wtheck Mia? She mentions in studio time that she is going to really "dance them." I agree that all this plus practicing for tomorrow's finale is physical abuse for sure.

At the end they are bent over just out of breath and out of energy. They had just pulled their last strings for the night. And it was the bomb.

Sidenote: There is a girl in the audience at the end here that looks just like Julia. It's uncanny.

Conclusion

YES, it was true that two of the four top dancers were hospitalized over the weekend. And it's no wonder. Who knows what else they were practicing for tomorrow. This has been the most pressure finalists have ever had to face.

I love all the top four but admit to missing Chelsie =(

Looking forward to tomorrow's show. Liz thinks Katee will win. And Nigel is a freaky old bastard.

The Best Episode Ever with a Bittersweet Ending (Top 6 Dancers)

8/1/2008

Overall, this episode was fantastic.

Opening Comments: The Judges

The guest judge for this episode is Adam Shankman, Mr. Hairspray. Cat Deeley's skin tone is what Teresa calls "a fake tan gone bad." Mary's skin looks leathery and Julia can't take her eyes off of it. We also can't stop staring at an overly tan girl in front of the judges panel. lol-worthy its redic. Nigel is still a freaky old bastard.
Dancers: Courtney & Mark

Viennese Waltz by Jason Gilkinson to David Cook's "Time of Our Life"

This dance had good emotion. In rehearsal, Mark touches Courtney's boob. Teresa says that Courtney looks young. Teresa looked it up: she's 20.

Aside from the dancing: wtf to music-- "Time of Our Life" mehhhh

Romantic dance- they pulled it off---it went well and was believable.

Nigel totally self-promotes Idol and even says "David Cook" in his response. Nigel comon. This is sytycd. Adam Shankman says he is glad he is not a part of the voting bc it rocked and he predicted he was in store for a great night.

Jazz by the last of the mohicans Sonya to "The Garden" by Mirah

Whoa, sexy outfit. Mark looks like a demon. They make evil sexy faces and totally commit to them. They did a great job. This was TOTALLY Mark's thing.

Teresa loves the song and gets a small notepad out of her purse to write it down. She also loves the green outfit. Miranda thinks it is so cute and says its her favorite of the night so far.

Adam "hairspray" Shankman says it is "SICK!" and gets really pumped up and Nigel mentions the charisma of this couple. This dance was freaky but sharp. Sonya went nuts in the auidence.
Dancers: Katee & Joshua

A Contemporary by Tastey Oreo to Celine Dion's "All By Myself"

Yay! Yay! We LOVE them! This is Tyce's version of his and Mia's ever so turbulent relationship. This dance is BEAUTIFUL! The run, leap into Joshes arms when he catches her is amazing and we love the whole takeoff running theme in this choreography. Very passionate and the lifts are great.

Adam gives a shout-out to guess who? Paula Abdul is in the audience; Joshua looks thrilled about it too. Ok so Paula kisses Tyce on the lips passionately at this point.....Paula has no idea that she just called War on Mia Michaels. Adam says that Joshua & Katee are the "Holy Trinity of sytycd." A standing ovation from all three judges! They cannot say enough how that Josh has had no classical training and is still so fabulous.

Teresa says that she thinks it is cool how Katee is such a trusting partner and just throws herself across the dance floor. Miranda says Katee is just weightless. AMAZING.

A Paso Doble by Jason Gilkinson to "Filet" from Le Reve Original Soundtrack

Cute dress for a Paso Doble! Katee's torso is so long we noticed. omg Josh finally has a chance to dance topless! lol sparkly. Liz likes. OMG this dance was SO dramatic. Julia says that it feels like a movie trailer. Miranda says she'd go see that movie.

Adam says that Josh is "Brilliant". Mary woos her frickin heart out. The most wooing I've heard from her ever. She even turns to Nigel and blows out his hearing aid. "True magic," Mary says. Nigel thinks "Josh could steal the show," but they praise Katee the same....they did great. Liz's favorite part is the end after the routine is done; Joshua drags Katee across the floor. Joshua looks so manly and "300"-ey. The camera catches Nigel making a very "hot and bothered" face, which Teresa couldn't get enough of. It's hilarious. We did a rewind on that.

We find out about So You Think You Can Dance Austrailia (Jason Gilkinson is a choreographer for it).
Dancers: Twitch and Chelsie

The Mambo by Tony Meredith & What Not To Wear Woman, Melanie to music "Ahora Me Toca A Mi" by Victor Manuelle

In rehersal Twitch had to pull up his pants to his waist. Haha it looked funny. Whoa to Chelsie's dress--- HOTTIE---Adam thinks she is an "animal" out there. We love her shoes with little red frill on the heels. She was "on fire," but the judges wanted a little bit more animal from Twitch.

lol for the slo mo view of Twitch watching Chelsie to make sure he was doing his fancy footwork right. Miranda thinks Twitch looks awakward, but Mary gives huge props to Twitch for picking the Mambo up. We think this routine was cute!

Almost forgot---the shimmy on the knees! hahah! It's pictured above. Liz and Julia love the shimmy move and love to shimmy in general.

A Hip Hop by Tabether & Napolean to "Control" by Vitamin String Cortet

This was a conductor dance with some crazy outfits and teased hair. Liz wasn't feeling this so much tbh. Julia points out that control is a Janet Jackson song and Teresa agrees. Miranda really liked it. Teresa wonders why the conductor stick is green. You know what, probably to really stand out since they are wearing white pieces. This dance wasn't about skill; it was about facial expressions-- it was all about character. They pulled them off well, but good "locker" moves, using some Toni Basil lingo.

Adam points out that "good choreographers make good directors" **AHEM**LIKE HIM. lol. Tabether & Napolean bring something different and intellegent to the dancefloor. The judges said Chelsie did great even though it wasn't her genre and that she definately kept up with Twitch!
The Solos

Twitch did his solo to "Midas Touch" by Midnight Star. In his solo he reveals his gold grill and then busts out his gold grandpa glasses and continues to dance. Its was pretty silly. Get this. Cat Deeley then puts on the glasses and WHAT? THE GRILL?! Teresa says, "yuuuuck." Yes Cat Deeley has Twitch take out his grill that he had danced with and eagerly puts it into her mouth "spit and all." Then all three judges, followed by Cat, do the "forreal" shoulder move. Wow, Adam is just loving it even though he is so not even in on it. Everyone is trying to be in on it. Twitch is shocked.

Chelsie did her solo to "When I Grow Up" by The Pussycat Dolls. Great hips and legwork- she looks so good in her outfit, she has star quality! We love to watch her!

Katee's solo was danced to "Can't Stop" by Marroon 5. She dances her signature moves, which never look bad.

Josh's solo was to "Like That" Memphis Bleek. Josh is entertaining! Uh oh booty shakin going on. Liz loves his begging face when Cat is giving out his numbers! During this time Julia reveals that she likes both Twitch and Joshua, but wouldn't date Joshua. (apparently Joshua is in Julia's 'friend zone' lol)

Courtney danced a solo to "Rock Your Soul" by Elisa. Liz loves this song btw. Teresa wrote it down in her little book. Liz has to say that Courtney stepped it up for her. Miranda thinks its okay but always the same stuff; same moves.

Mark danced to "Bum Like You" by Robin. Omg his shirt is gross. Huge distraction for Liz. Mark dances vogue to his digits read out loud by Cat and Cat plays along. They don't almost make out this time, but we think Cat has a thing for Mark. He's tall?

The Results

Predicted that Mark and possibly possibly Courtney would go. Courtney had stepped it up though, so Chelsie may be in danger. Top 2 prediction: Katee & Joshua.

The results show began with a group dance to "The Rose" by Bette Midler choreographed by Mandy Moore. Not the pop star. haha. Okay we liked it! Julia thought maybe it was a Mia. Teresa and Miranda couldn't stop thinking of Napolean Dynamite.

Cat Deeley came out with a fan blowing her hair and quickly says, "ok enough."

Top 6 Solos for Results Show:

"Almost Lover" by A Fine Frenzy for Courtney

Katee- Cute top! wow she's hottt

Joshua's solo to "I Can Make You Dance" by Zap ATTN: JOSH GOT HIS BRACES OFF!!!!!!!!! OW!!!

Chelsie did fabulous! She was not wearing her heels and doing a lot more than shaking her hips. She stepped it up and her outfits are hott.

Aww Twitch. He did his solo to "Don't Worry, Be Happy" by Bobby McFerren. Adorable!

Musical Guest: Lady GaGa. grosss!

Guest Dancer: omg to Lil Demon! Teresa says they call him that because he had to sell his soul to the devil for those moves. We wonder where they found this kid. Cat Deeley makes a Star Wars reference. We love this little boy!
The results came down to Katee & Joshua being safe first. We were afraid for Chelsie bc all night Cat had been giving it away that it would be her going home. It plays into our conspiracy episode blog. We think Cat Deeley knows from the beginning of the night and is not doing a good job of hiding it. More later...basically we knew it was Chels bc of Cat's giving it away.

Chelsie & Mark went home. Chelsie cried bc it was so overwhelming to see her video and how far she has come. I liked that she is "real." She has an amazing career ahead of her. Can't wait to see her on tour.

Mark has such a great perspective and attitude despite some of his weirdness. His attitude was great throughout the whole competetion. Good for him! I like him. He hugged Twitch and acted excited for him. He's awesome and just "gets it."
